リヒャルト・シュトラウス ドン・ファン
何かとても、リヒャルト・シュトラウスが聴きたくなって「ドン・ファン」と「ティル・オイレンシュピーゲル（通称「ティル」）」を聴いてしまいました。「シュトラウス」と聴くと、ウィーンのニューイヤーコンサートで流れるヨハン（ヨハネ）・シュトラウスを想像する人も多いかも知れませんが、全くの別物です、生きた時代も違います。リヒャルト・シュトラウスは後期ロマン派の大家で、作曲だけではなく、指揮者としても、活躍しました。ウィーン国立歌劇場の音楽監督を務めたことでも有名です。
ドン・ファンは、
「ニコラウス・レーナウによる大管弦楽のための交響詩 」という副題がついているように、ニコラウス・レーナウの叙事詩に刺激され書かれた作品。 リヒャルト・シュトラウスの出世作ともいわれ、この作品で有名になりました。 女性を口説くときの甘い旋律なども入っていたりして、とてもロマンティックな側面もあります。クラシックファンだと、「Ｎ響アワー」のオープニング曲としてなじみが深いかも知れません。
今回は、ティルについては割愛。
リヒャルト・シュトラウスはホルンの使い方が絶品だと個人的には思っています。ホルン協奏曲も確か２曲書いているはずです。やはり、うまいなぁ〜とつくづく感じます。普段は、あまりリヒャルト・シュトラウスは聴かないのですが（ちょっと華やかすぎる？感があるので）でも、時々聴くといいなぁと思います。
